We built this site to minimise data collection. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and why.

Browsing the site

Almost all of this website is static content served directly by Cloudflare. We do not install Google Analytics or any third-party advertising or tracking scripts by default. If we ever enable analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly option such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data to track visitors — we'll update this page if and when that changes.

Asking a question

Our question form is designed for anonymous use. A name and email address are entirely optional — you only need to provide an email if you want a personal reply. We do not require or store your IP address in the submitted record; a hashed, non-reversible fingerprint of your browser's user agent is kept only to help us detect abusive/automated submissions.

Requesting a free Qur'an

The Qur'an request form collects your name, email and country (required to assess fulfilment), plus optional city, language and delivery preferences. This information is used only to process your request.

Where submissions are stored

Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV, a storage service operated by Cloudflare, and are only accessible to site administrators via authenticated tooling. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam. Turnstile runs a privacy-preserving challenge in your browser and does not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy for details.

Retention

We retain form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your question or request, and to maintain basic records of site activity. If you'd like your submission deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, by emailing hello@discoverislam.se.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
